Devlog #2 Many projects, actually tons of motivation
A very widely spead advice for finishing projects is to not undertake too many.
I, as everyone else, don’t follow this good willed knowdledge.
In fact, right now I’m doing so many things everyday, also having a 9-6 job that takes almost all my energy.
But okay, let’s go to the State- Of the GAMES:
- Abulia:
This is the main project. I take it with care and I make slow progress. My main goal is to keep it small but powerful. I proposed too few months to finish it and sometimes I feel like it will never be done, but in days like today I find myself actually bringing a lot to the table.
The monsters and cards list are ready, I hope not to add any so I can balance the game with what I currently have.
I hope to have a clear mind on every single event on the game as promised, and not to add too much.
I repeat these words to myself: Don’t add too much. I trust in my previously finished demos.
- Secret project number 2:
I can’t say too much more than I’m riding the AI hype in some ways just to see if I can take some of the low hanging fruits.
I probably will have a demo on April if everything goes alright, this time it will be just a slow progress content game.
- Progresswaifu was released:
On early january I made progress waifu available to the public. Nobody has signed up since then but I’m okay with it. It was a personal challenge and to my surprise I’ve been actually using it everyday as a todo list.
I don’t think I will work on this anytime soon but I do want to add some things that will make me want to share this with other people and give it more promotion.
- The channel and usual things:
The channel is another challenge that helps me promote my things, but as it takes time now I’m experimenting with very short format without wanting it to make actualy shorts. I don’t exactly know if this is the right step, definitely I think it’s probably not very pragmatic, but I do see not much short videos. So I don’t know, I will just see how it plays out over time.
